Scaling Personal Brands

Terms of Service

Effective 17 October 2026

1. Provider

Scaling Personal Brands is run by Fabian Egger, Eugen-Jäger-Straße 73, 67346 Speyer, Germany (see Imprint). These terms cover this website and the app.

2. The service

The service helps you plan short-form videos, render them and publish them to social media accounts you own, and shows their results. It is currently a closed beta.

3. Who may use it

You must be of legal age and use the service for your own or your organisation's accounts. If you act for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these terms.

4. Your accounts and connections

5. Your content and our licence

You keep all rights to your content (texts, product images, videos, captions). You give us a non-exclusive, free licence limited to what the service needs: to store, render, adapt to each platform's format and transmit your content to the platforms you selected, at the times you planned. The licence ends when the content is deleted. You confirm you hold the rights needed for the content you publish.

6. AI-generated content

Scripts can be written by AI. They can be wrong, repetitive or unsuitable. You decide what is published and are responsible for checking it. Generated content belongs to you, as far as the law allows.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to publish spam, deceptive or illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, or to manipulate engagement or get around platform limits, reviews or bans. We may pause publishing for an account that breaks these rules or a platform's rules.

8. Platform rules and limits

Each platform's terms and community rules apply to what you publish, including the YouTube Terms of Service. Platforms set upload limits, review new apps and can change or restrict their APIs at any time. Uploads may stay private until an API review is passed. We are not responsible for platform decisions, outages or removals.

9. Plans, subscriptions and credits

The beta is free of charge. If paid plans, subscriptions or AI credits are introduced, prices, billing period, cancellation and refund rules will be shown before you buy, and you will not be charged without agreeing to them.

10. Availability and changes

We aim for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability during the beta. We may change features to improve the service or to follow platform requirements.

11. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of obligations essential to the contract, limited to damage that was foreseeable and typical. Otherwise our liability is excluded. Since the beta is free, liability for slight negligence is excluded as far as the law permits.

12. Ending the use

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data (see Data deletion). We can end the beta or your access with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms.

13. Privacy

How we handle personal data: Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply. For merchants, the place of jurisdiction is Speyer, Germany.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms for new features or legal or platform requirements. We announce changes in the app at least 30 days before they apply; you can object and stop using the service.
